Southland Transportation Ltd. is a Calgary owned and operated school bus company. We have convenient parkout locations throughout Calgary, with satellite operations in Okotoks, Cochrane, and Rockyford.
The company has almost 1000 school buses as well as a fleet of commuter highway coaches that service Cochrane and Okotoks during the week with commuter service.
The company provides initial training and covers all the costs for propective driver to upgrade their licencs from a 5 to Class 2 .

Additionally Southland offers free babysitting for mothers who wish to take the driver training. After completion of training there is a 200 dollar training bonus which is paid out on the third paycheque.
Southland does pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as well as a complete security clearance check. Indivduals with criminal backgrounds are not eligible for employment.

Southland celebrated it's 35 anniversary as a company in April 2006.

It is the only school bus company with an accredited Driver Training program from the Motor Passenger Council of Canada.
