Calgary Alpha House Society --- creating hope through service and wellbeing..

Since 1981, Alpha House has been providing services for those who are under the influence of, or withdrawing from, alcohol and/or other drugs and require assistance in stabilizing their condition.

Our mission is “to provide a safe and caring environment for individuals whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drug dependencies”, and we do this primarily through offering a drop-in/overnight shelter, detoxification unit, and outreach program.

We believe the journey to hope and recovery begins with a single step, and are committed to making a difference in the lives of Calgarians, one individual at a time.
