RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Manager, Transportation Services this position is responsible for providing safe and effective transportation service to clients. This position is responsible for the safety of the clients who may be ambulatory, in wheelchairs and/or on stretchers. Key responsibilities include scheduling client pickup and delivery routines, inspecting transportation vehicles and reporting any mechanical issues and ensuring regular vehicle maintenance schedules are maintained. Responsible for other related duties as required.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's License required; Valid Class 2 Alberta Operator's License an asset; First Aid (including CPR); Driver's Abstract is required.
Minimum three (3) years of professional bus driving experience required (min. 25 passenger vehicle); Clean driving record; Work experience in a heath care environment preferred.
