WANTED HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC
South Rock Ltd. currently has an opening for the following ……….

As a heavy duty mechanic working for South Rock Ltd., you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of road construction equipment and heavy duty trucks on the worksite, as well as in the shop environment.

Your Responsibilities will include:
• Maintenance logs and documents
• Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts
• Testing equipment for proper performance
•Cleaning and lubricating, various maintenance work as required.

South Rock works throughout Alberta, therefore applicants must be willing to travel as required and live in camp or hotel settings. All positions require a minimum of a class 5 drivers license (or higher as noted)

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
• Fully licensed Heavy Duty Technician or a min 3 yr apprentice
• Road paving / construction experience preferred
• Class 3 drivers license with air would be an asset
